  9. WINDOWS 3.1+ USERS  - SPECIAL NOTE

  12. If you are using Windows 3.1, please rename the WINCOPY2.EXE 
  13. to WINCOPY.EXE (to replace the original wincopy.exe file).  The
  14. original wincopy.exe does not work with Windows 3.1+.

  24. MANUAL, USER GUIDE

  26. If your registered version of the software includes a 
  27. print file of the User Guide (and no printed hard copy),
  28. you can print the manual on any Windows compatible printer.
  29. Open the Windows Write program, open the MANUAL.WRI file
  30. (located in the application's directory), and print the
  31. file.

  34. INSTALLATION AND SETUP
  35.  
  36. 1.  Start Windows.
  37. 2.  Open the Program Manager.
  38. 3.  From the File menu, choose Run.
  39. 4.  In the Command Line type one of the following:
  40.     -  If the software is on a diskette, type A:SETUP
  41.        (assuming your floppy drive is A:).
  42.     -  If the extracted software is on the hard disk,
  43.         type C:\DIRECTORY\SETUP (where DIRECTORY is
  44.         the actual directory that holds the software
  45.         files).
  46. 5.  Choose OK.
  47. 6.  Follow the prompts.

  51. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING REQUIRED FILES
  52.  
  53. The Windows 3.1 version requires the VBRUN300.DLL file.  Most 
  54. likely, you will already have these files in your Windows\System 
  55. directory.  If you do not have the files, please download them 
  56. from your favorite shareware repository, online service, BBS or 
  57. from our web site www.informatik.com/files.html.

  62. If there are any missing files, please contact Informatik Inc.
  63. or visit www.informatik.com/files.html where many of the
  64. files are available for downloading.

  68. REGISTRATION

  70. This is a shareware product.  You may evaluate it for 30 days.  
  71. If you like the product after the 30-day evaluation period,
  72. and you continue to use it, please register and pay the 
  73. registration fee.

  75. The registration fee for WinCopy is U.S. $20.00 (single-user).  
  76.  
  77. Immediately after registration, Informatik Inc. will email the
  78. personalized registration code and information on downloading of 
  79. the latest software files.  Master diskettes are not required, but 
  80. are available for a handling charge of $4.00 ($5.00 outside USA).
  81. Registered users are entitled to technical support and to free 
  82. software upgrades for one year.

  84. To register, please choose 'Registration, Copyright' from the
  85. applications' About menu.  Click on the 'Print Registration Form'
  86. button.  Fill in the Registration Form and return it to Informatik Inc.
  87. together with your check or credit card information.

  102. be added for bank charges.  If you cannot obtain convertible currencies,

  109. LIMITED WARRANTY

  111. The physical diskette and documentation of this software product is
  112. warranted to be free of defects of materials and workmanship for a
  113. period of 30 days from the date of receipt.  If you notify us of
  114. such a defect within the warranty period, Informnatik Inc will
  115. replace the defective materials at no cost to you.

  138. only in a STATE or FEDERAL COURT of competent jurisdiction 
  139. located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  The parties hereby
  140. consent to in personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  146. Informatik Inc.  All rights are reserved, and the use of the software
  147. is expressly prohibited, except as authorized by the terms of this
  148. agreement.

  150. Informatik Inc. authorizes you to make archival copies of this
  151. software for the sole purpose of back-up and protecting your investment
  152. from loss.  Under no circumstances may you copy this software or
  153. documentation for the purpose of distribution to others.  Under no
  154. circumstances may you remove the copyright notices made part of the
  155. software or documentation.

  157. The supplied software may be used by one person on as many computer
  158. systems as that person uses.  We expect that group programming projects
  159. making use of this software will purchase a copy of the software and
